Repórter Brasil - Moda Livre

Moda Livre assesses how the main clothing brands and retailers in Brazil monitor their suppliers and fight slave labor. Data is sourced from public documents and from questionnaires fulfilled by the brands and retailers.

The assessment of the 123 brands currently listed on Moda Livre is done through a scoring system. The score attributed to each company is calculated based on two tools: a questionnaire, voluntarily answered by the brands, and a history, prepared by the Repórter Brasil team based on inspections by the federal government. Answers to the questionnaire must be backed by documentary evidence. From there, the brands are classified in four colors: Green, Yellow, Red, or Grey.

Originally provided as an App, Moda Livre now also has a website version. The Moda Livre App can be downloaded through Itunes or Google Play.
